United Arab Emirates · Effective July 23, 2026
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern access to the LiVAR website and customer portal, verified email or Google registration, protected order records, quotation requests, and resulting purchases from LIVAR PACKAGING MATERIALS MANUFACTURING L.L.C. Mandatory rights provided by applicable UAE legislation remain effective and are not excluded by this page.
1. Scope & Definitions
Who and what these policies coverThese terms apply to livar.ae, its related pages, contact forms, quotation requests, accepted orders and services operated by LIVAR PACKAGING MATERIALS MANUFACTURING L.L.C (“LiVAR,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Website Terms of Use
Access, acceptable use and intellectual propertyBy accessing, browsing, registering for or using the customer portal, or sending a quotation request through this website, you agree to these terms and any policies referenced here. If you do not agree, please do not use the website, register for a portal account, or send a quotation request through it. Information supplied to LiVAR must be complete and accurate.
Permitted and prohibited use
You must not:
- interfere with the website, its security, servers, source code or connected systems;
- introduce malware, automated scraping, excessive requests or unauthorized access attempts;
- misrepresent your identity, authority, company or intended use of a product;
- copy or commercially exploit website content without permission or another lawful basis; or
- use product information, specifications or documentation in a misleading, unsafe or unlawful manner.
Customer portal accounts
A customer may register through a verified email code, secure one-time link, or configured Google sign-in. Registration, an email address, company domain, quotation reference, or portal account does not by itself establish authority to view or act for a company. LiVAR may require independent verification and may map access only to a verified company record.
Credentials are personal to the approved user and must not be shared. The user is responsible for maintaining the security of its device and session and must promptly notify LiVAR of suspected unauthorized access. LiVAR may suspend, restrict, or disable an account to protect a customer, LiVAR, or the service. Portal access does not create an order, credit facility, agency relationship, or entitlement to invoices, orders, contracts, or other records unless LiVAR separately authorizes and exposes those records to the verified company and role.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, photographs, graphics, product names, designs, layout, trademarks and other content are owned by or licensed to LiVAR. Website access does not transfer ownership or grant a commercial licence to use that content.
Third-party services
External links, carriers, embedded content and third-party integrations may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We may modify, suspend or discontinue website functionality, subject to responsibilities imposed by applicable law.
3. Orders, Quotations, Pricing & Payment
Product validation and contract formationProduct information
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, dimensions, capacities, materials and images. Normal manufacturing tolerances, colour variation, packaging changes and screen-display differences may occur. The written specification accepted for an order controls over a general website image or summary.
Samples and customer validation
Customers may request samples for inspection, filling tests, sealing tests, compatibility checks, transport trials, technical assessment or marketing review before ordering. Sample approval does not eliminate normal manufacturing tolerances. The customer remains responsible for validating compatibility with its contents, filling temperature, closure, sealing method, machinery, storage conditions, shelf-life requirements and destination-market rules.
Offer and acceptance
A website listing, configured cart, or quotation request is not a binding order. The website prepares a request that is sent through the customer's email application. An order becomes binding only as stated in an accepted LiVAR quotation, proforma invoice, final invoice, purchase order, order confirmation, or supply agreement. Before acceptance, LiVAR may reject or revise a request because of an obvious pricing error, unavailable stock, production limits, a compliance concern, or a delivery restriction.
Prices, currency, taxes and payment
Website configuration prices are informational until confirmed in an official quotation or invoice. The accepted sales document states the currency, applicable UAE VAT, shipping, insurance, customs-related costs, other charges, payment method, and payment timing. The current website does not accept online payments and does not request payment-card details.
Commercial deposits, progress payments, credit arrangements, tooling ownership and custom material commitments are governed by the accepted quotation, invoice or supply agreement.
4. Shipping & Delivery
UAE and worldwide dispatchLiVAR dispatches within the UAE and internationally, subject to inventory, production capacity, carrier availability, destination restrictions, customs requirements and any agreed Incoterm. Orders generally ship on business days, excluding selected UAE public holidays. Processing or production time is separate from carrier transit time.
Delivery estimates
Estimated processing, dispatch or delivery timing may be communicated in the quotation, order confirmation or shipment notice. Dates are estimates unless a sales document expressly confirms a guaranteed date. Tracking or dispatch details will be supplied where the selected carrier and service provide them.
Delivery information
The customer must provide an accurate address, contact person, telephone number and any access, import or customs information required for delivery. Additional expenses arising from incorrect details, failed delivery, redelivery, storage, detention or refusal may be charged where permitted.
Inspection on delivery
Please inspect the shipment promptly. Visible transit damage, shortages or incorrect goods should be recorded on the carrier document where possible and reported to LiVAR without unreasonable delay with the order number, photographs, carton or pallet labels and affected quantity. A latent issue should be reported promptly after discovery. These reporting requests do not remove a mandatory legal right.
Risk, title and international trade terms
Risk, title, export clearance, import clearance, freight and insurance responsibilities are governed by applicable law and the accepted quotation, invoice and Incoterm. If no Incoterm is stated, the delivery terms in the order confirmation apply.
5. Returns, Exchanges, Defects & Refunds
Hygiene-first food-contact policyLegal and hygiene context
Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023, which implements Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 Concerning Consumer Protection, recognizes that return or replacement treatment may differ where the nature, characteristics or packaging of goods prevents safe return. LiVAR applies this hygiene exception subject to all mandatory UAE consumer remedies.
Defect, damage or incorrect-supply claims
Contact [email protected] promptly and provide the available evidence, including:
- order, quotation or invoice number;
- product name, size, batch or lot details and affected quantity;
- clear photographs or video showing the issue;
- carton, pallet and shipping labels where relevant;
- details of storage, handling, filling, sealing and use conditions; and
- representative samples if reasonably requested for assessment or testing.
LiVAR's quality team may carry out an initial assessment and may request return or independent testing of representative samples. If a technical claim remains disputed, the parties may use a mutually acceptable accredited laboratory or another lawful dispute-resolution process. An internal quality review will not be used to remove a remedy that mandatory law requires.
Available remedies
If a manufacturing defect or other valid non-conformity is confirmed, the remedy may include repair, replacement of the affected quantity, re-performance, credit or refund, depending on the product, severity, accepted commercial documents and applicable law. Returned or rejected food-contact goods that cannot be safely resold will be segregated and may be destroyed rather than returned to stock.
Bottle sealer machines — seven-day voluntary return
In addition to mandatory rights, a customer may request authorization to return a standard, non-custom bottle sealer machine within seven calendar days after delivery. The machine must be unused, undamaged, complete, in resalable condition and returned with its original packaging, manuals, accessories and supplied components. Written return authorization is required before shipment.
For an approved, non-defective voluntary machine return, the customer bears return shipping costs, related charges and transit risk. Original delivery charges are not refundable unless LiVAR states otherwise or applicable law requires a different outcome. Defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied machines are handled under the defect provisions above.
Custom, printed and special-production goods
Custom, printed, coloured, specially sourced or customer-specific goods cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind after production begins or materials are committed. This restriction does not apply when goods fail to conform to an approved specification, sample, artwork proof or mandatory legal requirement.
Refund method and timing
An approved refund is normally issued through the method agreed for the accepted order where reasonably possible. Bank processing time may apply. Refunds required by law will be handled within the legally applicable period.
6. Order Changes & Cancellation
Request changes before costs are committedVoluntary requests
Email [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to assist before procurement, production, printing, packing or dispatch begins.
Once work has started or costs have been committed, cancellation may be refused or the customer may be responsible for completed work, committed materials and non-recoverable expenses as stated in the accepted quotation or order confirmation. After dispatch, voluntary return eligibility is generally limited to bottle sealer machines under Section 5; food-contact packaging is not eligible for a change-of-mind return.
Cancellation notice
A cancellation or modification request should include the customer name, order or invoice number, order date, affected goods, requested change, reason and date of notice. A request is not accepted until LiVAR confirms it in writing.
7. Taxes, Duties & International Fees
VAT, customs and destination chargesUAE orders may be subject to VAT or other charges as required by applicable tax rules. The quotation or invoice will state whether tax is included or added. A customer claiming an exemption or special treatment must provide valid supporting documentation where required.
International shipments may incur customs duties, import taxes, brokerage, inspection, storage, detention, demurrage, destination handling and regulatory fees. Responsibility depends on the agreed Incoterm and written order terms. Unless the quotation expressly states DDP or otherwise confirms LiVAR's responsibility, destination-country import charges and customs clearance are generally the customer's responsibility.
UAE manufacturing and ICV documents
LiVAR is a UAE-based manufacturer. Where an ICV certificate or related document is supplied for a transaction, its current official copy determines the applicable score, validity period, scope, and any transaction-specific benefit.
8. Data Protection
Security, confidentiality and lawful processingLiVAR handles personal data in accordance with applicable UAE data-protection requirements, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 Concerning the Protection of Personal Data where it applies. The complete website privacy notice is available at LiVAR Privacy Policy.

Information we may collect
Purposes
We may process personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotations;
- register and authenticate verified users, manage company membership, enforce order-record ownership and protect customer portal security;
- create, manufacture, process, fulfil and deliver orders;
- record payments made under accepted commercial documents and prevent fraud;
- provide technical support, warranty service and complaint handling;
- maintain quality, traceability, safety, security and legal records;
- operate and improve the website, products and customer service;
- send requested or lawfully permitted communications; and
- comply with tax, customs, court, regulatory and other legal obligations.
Service providers and international processing
The website does not process online payments. The customer portal uses expiring one-time email codes or links and may use configured Google sign-in. Authentication tokens are protected and verified server-side; any legacy password remains protected using one-way hashing. LiVAR may use providers for hosting, cloud storage, email, newsletter delivery, CRM, accounting, freight, customs brokerage, and support. Some providers may process data outside the UAE; where applicable, we use reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards for that processing.
Retention, security and requests
Personal data is retained only as long as reasonably required for the relevant business purpose and applicable warranty, traceability, dispute, tax, accounting or legal obligation. Reasonable safeguards may include access controls, authentication, SSL/TLS encryption in transit, service-provider review, backups and internal confidentiality measures. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or another available data right by emailing [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
9. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Website operation, browser storage and choicesCookies and similar technologies may store or access information on a device. The technologies used depend on the website functions and third-party services enabled at the time of a visit.
| Category | Purpose | Typical status |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, requested forms, and separate administrative and approved customer sessions. | Required for requested website functions. |
| Quotation cart & preferences | Keep selected product configurations and user-selected display settings in the browser. | Used when the related feature is selected. |
| External content | Technologies controlled by an external provider when its content or link is opened. | Governed by that provider's notice. |
You can restrict or delete cookies through browser settings and, where available, the website's consent controls. Clearing browser storage may remove quotation-cart selections or reset preferences.
10. Contact Forms, Newsletter & Electronic Messages
Enquiries, optional updates and unsubscribeContact forms
Information submitted through a form may be used to respond, prepare a quotation, provide support, follow up on the request and maintain suitable business records. Submitting an enquiry does not by itself authorize unrelated continuing marketing.
Newsletter and marketing messages
If you voluntarily subscribe, we may use your email address to send the requested LiVAR updates and product information. Commercial electronic messages will identify the sender, provide contact details and include an unsubscribe method where required. Consent records may be maintained to document the source, date, scope and status of a subscription.
Unsubscribe and service messages
You may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting [email protected]. We may still send non-marketing messages that are reasonably necessary to process an order, provide delivery or safety information, respond to a request, or meet a legal obligation.
11. Liability, Governing Law, Changes & Contact
Final contractual provisionsLiability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiVAR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential business losses arising from website use or a commercial purchase, including loss of profit, production, opportunity or goodwill, unless an accepted written agreement states otherwise. Nothing in this clause excludes fraud, wilful misconduct, mandatory consumer protection or another liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as natural disaster, fire, war, government action, labour disruption, epidemic, cyber incident, carrier interruption, port congestion, customs delay, power failure or material shortage. This does not excuse a payment obligation already due or remove a right that applicable law requires.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These website policies are governed by the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable local laws. The competent courts of the UAE have jurisdiction, subject to a mandatory forum, consumer right, arbitration clause or other non-waivable rule applying to a particular order.
Severability and no waiver
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent required, and the remaining provisions continue. A delay or failure to enforce a provision does not waive it.
Policy changes
We may update these policies to reflect legal, commercial, operational or technology changes. The effective date will be revised. The terms accepted for an existing order continue to govern that order unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise or mandatory law requires a different result.
